HI, I’M ML WAHLFELDT

Daughter, Wife, Mother, Friend, Business Owner, Joy Seeker, Light Spreader (in no particular order).

Let me start by explaining I was raised by a Sicilian Mother. Yes, lots of love and incredible pasta. But Sicilians are rarely calm or worry free. Ten years ago the combined stresses of work, aging parents, raising kids, friends with cancer, fears, and worries a mile long had my heart beating out of control as I tried to go to sleep. There had to be a better way.

I found Dr. Belisa Vranich (clinical psychologist and author of Breathe) and became a certified breathing coach. I studied the practice of meditation and intentions. Adding visualizations to the intentional breath work and meditations created a powerful trifecta to improve physical and mental health.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER

I offer individual, group, and corporate meditation and breathing classes.

My clients are all ages, children to the elderly.

Some clients purchase a 3-session package to learn/practice the various breathing exercises with a goal of transitioning them into their own daily practice. I also provide a one-time introduction to The Breathing Class.

Contact me for more information, or to learn more about my courses.

HEAR FROM CLIENTS

“If you’re looking for a personal or professional development program that falls outside the traditional scope of an educational program, I encourage you to speak with ML. Her interactive breathing program is enlightening and engaging. Attendees walk away from her program knowing the impact of proper breathing and how it can help reduce stress and allow one to perform at his/her best under pressure. The science behind proper breathing really caught my attention and her in-session exercises were great.”

Holly L. Barocio, Principal Consultant, Growth Play

“Our program’s young adults got a variety of useful takeaways from Mary Lisa’s breathing class. She gave the group a lot of practical knowledge regarding the science behind our breathing habits’ impact on health and how to implement simple, daily practices for improvement. Many of our students and alumni responded with enthusiasm, committing to incorporate the material daily in order to help cope with challenges. We look forward to having Mary Lisa again for the next cohort!”

— Larry Bienz, Employment Placement Manager, Year Up

“There has been such positive feedback from your recent day at Niles West High School from both students and staff. You are changing so many lives. I hope you know your impact and keep doing what you’re doing.”

Dr. Karen Ritter, Principal, Niles West High School

We experience so much tension every day and we make it worse by pushing it down but if we set aside just 5 minutes for a breathwork or meditation practice, we would all feel so much better. We would all be so much more tolerant, more flexible, and more loving.”
