ONE-ON-ONE BREATHING & MEDITATION COACHING

Uniquely suited to address what you’re struggling with

A one on one meditation session will help you learn to relax, or to gain control over difficulties in your life (stress, anxiety, not sleeping). After correcting dysfunctional breathing patterns we will lay the foundation of breathing correctly which allows the body to function in a calm, focused manner.

This course is for all ages and all experience levels… to use any time, anywhere.

One to One Breathing & Meditation Coaching

Overview

An individual coaching session is approximately 75 minutes during which we will discuss areas where you may be having difficulty in your life (stress, anxiety, not sleeping) as well as what you’re looking to achieve with learning the breathing exercises, meditations, and visualizations.

We will start with a breathing assessment, so you’re aware of any dysfunctional breathing patterns you currently have. From there we will work to get you breathing properly, engaging your diaphragm, and taking full, wide breaths with your lower body. This first step can take some time, depending on the individual. It’s important to set the foundation of breathing correctly as this moves your nervous system into parasympathetic mode (rest and digest) and allows the body to function in a calm, focused manner.

Breathing Efficiency

Once you’re breathing the way your body was designed to breathe, we can move into some exercises that will help you strengthen your inhale and exhale muscles. These exercises will increase your lung capacity, make you a more efficient breather, and result in several physical and mental health benefits.

Enhance Meditation with a Personal Intention

The next step of our one-on-one session will be adding in a personal ‘intention’ to the breathing meditations. What would you like to bring into your life? Calm, joy, better health? You might be an athlete that wants increased performance. You might be getting ready for a surgery, and want to get yourself into a very calm, positive state of mind. And what are you holding on to that you’d like to release? Fear, worry, anger, pain, disease?  For some, a simple beginning intention of “let go” is a great place to start.

Visualization

The final step of the session is folding in a visualization of what your intention looks like to you. You will focus on the imagery while doing the intentional breathing exercises and meditations. You will experience a relaxing, peaceful session with exercises you can implement in your daily life anytime, anywhere.

Depending on the individual and how much we can accomplish in the single session, it is often necessary to book a follow-up session.
